Chillin'

Ok, so I know that the kids aren't supposed to watch any television until they are 10 or something, but really, don't they look cute sitting in their little chairs just chillin'???? It is very rare that they actually sit and watch the TV. They only thing that they watch at all is Sesame Street. I think it still seems pretty educational, so I think we're safe. Its amazing how Elmo just catches their attention while nothing else does.

Snow Day

So one crazy day I decided that our kids needed to experience snow. You can see that we almost didn't make it out of the house. It took us almost 20 min to dress. We had a little problem with standing up.
Once we got out there, Reid seemed to enjoy himself. We just had issues keeping mitts on and falling in the snow.
Elsie didn't even crack a smile for at least 15 minutes.
Finally after being pulled up and down the sidewalk and spun around a few times she did smile, but I never did get a picture of it. After all that work getting ready, I think we were only out there maybe 20 minutes. Oh well, I think next year will be more fun.

Reid and Elsie 16 days old
I never would have imagined myself to be a blogger, but I have been reading a few twin friends blogs and I actually look forward to new posts from them to see what is going on in their lives. I figured that I should do the same for my friends and family. I am hoping to be able to post at least weekly. I make no promises though.
September 7 2006 will always be a special day for us. The twins finally arrived after a rough summer for both mom and dad. After all of the waiting and anticipation, we ended up with our boy and girl. Our family was complete. Reid Thomas and Elsie Ann spent only 5 and 6 days in the hospital. Our life has been a daily adventure since then.
